I have read a lot of articles on feeding and I understand that I should be offering my 15-month-old toddler a variety of foods. However, when she is focused on only one food, let's say macaroni cheese, do I make that for her when she refuses to eat whatever else I have offered, or does she go without and maybe have a small snack later? In all the articles I have read, no one has ever really addressed this issue.

My 15-month-old will allow me to feed him only in front of the television. If there is no television and I give him finger foods to eat himself, he will eat one or two bites and then say, "All done". On the other hand he will eat really well in front of the television. What shall I do? Is the TV-watching just a phase that he will grow out of, or a bad habit?

How can I get my 13-month-old to eat something else besides baby food?Help! I think we've allowed our 13-month-old to eat jars of baby food too long. Although she loves crackers and biscuits, she wants nothing to do with more substantial table foods (e.g. what we're eating) and gets quite angry at us if we try too hard. How can we get her to move beyond basic baby food?
