Terms & Conditions – Pampers It Takes Two 2016 Contest

  1. These are the terms and conditions (hereinafter referred as "Terms") subject to which the “It Takes 2” promotion and contest (hereinafter referred as "Contest") is being organized by Procter & Gamble Home Products Private Limited on Facebook and users participation in the contest is subject only to the acceptance of the Terms mentioned herein. If a user does not want to be bound by the Terms hereinafter appearing they are requested to refrain from entering the Contest.
  2. Procter & Gamble Home Products Private Limited (“P&G”) is conducting a contest on Facebook under which every Facebook user (“Participant”), subject to acceptance of Terms – can share their entries on their own Facebook Profile or as a post on the Pampers India Facebook Page.
  3. The Facebook Privacy Setting for each entry must be set to ‘Public’.
  4. This Contest is open for participation only to residents of India aged above 18 years on the day of participation.
  5. The employees of P&G, its agents, distributors, dealers and their immediate families are not entitled to take part in the contest.
  6. Contest will be launched on 7th December 2016 at 12:00 HRS and end on 7th January 2017 at 23:59 HRS. P&G may in its absolute discretion curtail or extend the Contest Period without intimation, as it deems necessary.
  7. Selected winners will receive One Year’s Supply* of the new Pampers Premium Care Pants packs. *Here, One Year’s Supply refers to 6 JUMBO PACKS (containing 60 Premium Care Pants each).
  8. One Participant can post multiple entries, provided they are using their own images and not taken from any other source without permission. P&G will not be held responsible for any irregularities concerning images.
  9. This Contest is subject to the laws of India, and is not offered outside of India.
  10. P&G and its agents shall be licensed to evaluate all submissions for the purposes of this Contest, including verification and as specified in these terms and conditions.
  11. P&G shall not be liable for any consequences of Participant error including (without limitation) providing incorrect contact details & identity proof.
  12. The prize has no monetary value, is non-transferable, is not for sale or resale and cannot be redeemed in whole or part for cash.
  13. Contest is subject to any and all applicable Local, State, Central or Community laws/Local customs. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed, constructed and enforced in accordance with the laws of India.
  14. P&G may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any submissions, and prohibit further participation in this Contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the submission process or with the operation of this Contest or acts in violation of these terms and conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
  15. P&G reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Terms & Conditions without any prior notice. These Terms & Conditions constitute the comprehensive terms and conditions of the Contest and all participants are bound to comply with the guidelines, requirements etc. contained therein. Any non-compliance with the same may disqualify the Participants from participating in the Contest. P&G reserves the right to alter these T&C without any further notice as P&G may deem fit in its sole and absolute discretion. No communications/correspondences will be entertained by P&G on account of the aforementioned alterations/ modifications or otherwise.
  16. A Participant shall be deemed to have notice of any such amendments or interpretations upon publication of the same on the Facebook Website and shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments or interpretations by virtue of his/her continued participation in this Contest. Should a Participant not wish to continue to participate in this Contest pursuant to the prevailing terms and conditions as amended or interpreted, he/she may terminate participation in this Contest upon written notice to P&G.
  17. P&G reserves the right to open the contest through other media including but not limited to TV, print, other electronic media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter).
  18. In the event where any participant becomes the winner of the Contest, the Winner undertakes to do any and/or all acts, deeds, matter or things and further execute any and all documents in such manner and at such locations as may be required by P&G in its sole and absolute discretion.
  19. In terms of clause 18 as above, the Winner agrees to give a separate and free consent and to sign a release thereof for the use of its photographs and text as provided to P&G for the contest and the Images for P&G’s marketing and publicity on any kind of media, in the matter deemed fit in P&G’s sole discretion.
  20. All the submissions by the Participants/Winners, including their Personally Identifiable Information shall become the property of P&G. The Participants/ Winners specifically consent to usage of such PII and/ or, other submissions for future promotional and marketing activities of P&G, its Group/Associate Companies and authorized representatives.
  21. If for any reason any aspect of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of P&G which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, P&G may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, or invalidate any affected submissions.
  22. Failure by P&G to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  23. P&G reserves the right to withdraw, change, alter & modify the service & whatsoever offered hereunder any time with or without notice; on Regulatory reasons and/or any other reasons without any liability to the Participant.
  24. Selected Participant shall at P&G’s request and free of any charge, participate in any promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the receiving of the prize, and he/she specifically consents to P&G using his/her name and image in any promotional material.
  25. P&G will not be liable for any loss, damage or cancellation of this Contest caused by events beyond their reasonable control including war, natural calamities, floods, etc.
  26. P&G and its respective Group /Associate companies and agencies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, incidental, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Contest or the acceptance or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  27. The decision of P&G in general with respect to the Contest and the Terms & Conditions thereto shall be final and binding on all the Participant(s) and no communication shall be entertained in this regard at any time.

  29. Any disputes arising on the contest would be subject to jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only.
